Description
A Health & Fitness Assessment gives you a clear, evidence-based picture of your current fitness. You can purchase it on its own, or, if you’re booking a block of sessions, it’s included at no additional cost. When it’s part of a block, it becomes the foundation of every programme I design for you — built on accurate data, not guesswork.
This is especially important if you’re managing a medical condition, returning to exercise after a period of illness or inactivity, or simply want to start training in the right way.
What’s included in your 45-minute assessment:
- Blood pressure – a key health marker, particularly relevant if you are managing a cardiac condition, hypertension, or are post-treatment
- Resting heart rate – an important baseline indicator of cardiovascular health
- Body composition – including muscle mass and body fat percentage
- Cardiovascular fitness test – to assess the efficiency of your heart and lungs during exercise
- Upper body strength test – to establish your current strength baseline
- Lower body strength test – including functional movement relevant to everyday life
- Core assessment – to identify strength and stability through the trunk
- Balance assessment – particularly important for older adults and those with neurological conditions
What happens next:
At the end of your session, we will go through your results together.
All assessments are conducted in line with ACSM guidelines for health-related fitness testing.
