Functional Fitness Basics

A friendly, full-body class designed to help you get stronger at your own pace. We use a variety of resistance bands, with very light dumbbells available for those ready for a little more.
This is a chair-based class, so you’re always in control of how you work. You can stay seated and use the chair for support throughout or perform the exercises standing – it’s entirely up to you. You decide how hard you’d like to work; I’m here to guide you every step of the way.
Together we focus on improving strength, mobility, balance and flexibility – the foundations for moving well, feeling confident and staying independent as we get older.
It’s never too late to start, and everybody is welcome.
